The project
Design and engineering of a new plant for the production of pharmaceuticals for Eli Lilly Co. in Kinsale, Ireland.
The plant consists of approx. 90 modules with an area of about 5 000m². Each module was fabricated and assembled in Sweden, complete with process-, supply- and control-systems. Some modules also included laboratories and office spaces. The modules were then shipped to Ireland for the final installation and commissioning.
The Assignment
COWI's assignment consisted of pre-planning, detailed design and commissioning. Cowi Management is responsible for project management, planning, purchasing and cost control.
