The project
Nynas has carried out an expansion that reduces the silver corrosion (due to hydrogen sulfide) in the process. The new expanded facility produces transformer oil and two different base oils.
The assignment
COWI has carried out a basic and detail design and managed the construction of the project HF1 Trace impurity elimination. The assignment was carried out by COWI AB. COWI Management was responsible for project management, procurement and installation management. The project ended in spring 2007.
