The project
Nynas Refining AB has carried out an improvement of there HT-2 plant for to increase the capacity of naphthenic oils known as "Technical white oil". The expansion includes, a new reactor in series with the existing reactor, new heat exchangers, pumps and a new recirculation compressor for hydrogen.
The assignment
COWI has during the period March to December 2005 carried out a detail design and was responsible for the installation of an expansion of the facility HT2 Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn. The assignment was carried out by COWI AB. COWI Management was responsible for project management, procurement and installation management. The project was finished in April 2006 with the implementation of the final part of the project, which was to install a new hydrogen compressor.
